Q: Where are you based and do you travel?
A: Va Va Bloom is based in the heart of Bristol, and we are delighted to design weddings across Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, and the Cotswolds. We consider locations beyond these areas on a case-by-case basis for our Signature Experience couples, depending on availability and the nature of the event. For Core Edit couples, we offer collection from our Bristol studio, or local delivery is available for an additional fee.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance to secure your date, especially for peak season weddings (May–September). Our 2025 and 2026 diary is currently open but filling up fast!
Q: Do you have a minimum spend?
A: Yes. For 2025, our Core Edit begins at £650 and our Signature Experience starts from £1,500. For 2026, our Core Edit begins at £700 and our Signature Experience starts from £1,750. We will require commitment to these during your initial consultation to continue with our booking process.
Q: How many weddings do you take on each weekend?
A: To ensure every couple receives our full attention and the highest standard of design, Va Va Bloom commits to a maximum of one Core Edit and one Signature Experience wedding per weekend. This allows us to pour our energy, creativity, and care into crafting truly exceptional floral experiences.
Q: How do I secure my wedding date?
A: Dates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed once your non-refundable deposit has been received. We recommend enquiring early, especially for peak wedding months, as our calendar fills up quickly.

Q: What does The Core Edit include?
A: Designed for smaller celebrations or couples seeking beautifully styled personal florals without full-scale installations, The Core Edit offers a thoughtfully curated selection that forms the foundation of your floral journey. This includes a bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes and corsage, and bud vases—all created with seasonal blooms in your chosen colour palette. Additional items and upgrades to premium flowers such as peonies or garden roses are available to enhance your arrangements while maintaining your overall vision and minimum spend.
Q: Can I customise The Core Edit?
A: Yes — while The Core Edit starts with a refined collection of core florals, it offers flexibility. You can swap, reduce, or add elements (such as fewer buttonholes and more bud vases), as long as the minimum spend of £650 (for 2025) is met. You’ll choose your preferred palette (white, pink, or mixed), and I’ll design each piece with care, using the most beautiful seasonal stems to suit your style.
Q: Is setup or delivery included?
A: Your flowers will be available for collection the day before your wedding, ensuring they’re at their freshest. Local delivery on the morning of your wedding can be arranged for an additional fee, which we can discuss during your consultation.

Q: What does the Signature Experience offer?
A: Our Signature Experience is a fully tailored floral experience, designed to reflect your individual style and vision. It includes in-depth consultations, on-the-day setup, and floral installations such as arches, floral ceilings, and more. We use the finest seasonal flowers, carefully selected to complement your palette and venue. This package covers the full design and execution across both your ceremony and reception.
Please note: a minimum spend must be committed (£1,500 for 2025) to secure your booking.
Q: Can you work with my wedding planner or stylist?
A: Absolutely! We frequently collaborate with wedding planners and stylists to ensure a cohesive, beautifully curated look that ties together every aspect of your celebration.
Q: Are mock-ups or samples included in the Signature Experience?
A: As part of the Signature Experience, we can create sample designs upon request, for an additional cost. Please note that all mock-ups will require final sign-off by Va Va Bloom, and due to the availability of seasonal flowers, the blooms selected for your wedding day may differ slightly from those in the mock-up. We will always ensure the best possible selection based on availability at the time.
🌺 Booking & Payments
Q: How do I book?
A: Simply complete our enquiry form, and we’ll be in touch to arrange a consultation. Once you're ready to proceed, a 25% non-refundable deposit secures your date.
Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
A: Your deposit is non-refundable. However, if your date changes due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ll do our best to accommodate your new plans, subject to availability. Depending on your new date an updated quote may be needed.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, we offer flexible payment options to make the process as smooth as possible. The balance is typically due six weeks before your wedding date.
🌷 Future Bookings (2026 & 2027)
Q: Can I book flowers for my event in 2026 or 2027?
A: We're now taking bookings for both 2025 and 2026 - It's never too early to start planning something beautiful! Our books for 2027 will open later in 2025 so we can focus on all our fabulous 2025 weddings.
Q: Will my quote stay the same if prices change in the future?
A: We understand that prices can shift over time. If costs change by 10% or less (up or down), your original quote will remain valid – no need to worry! If the change exceeds 10%, we'll provide an updated quote and work with you to discuss suitable options within your new budget or preferences.
Q: What happens if prices increase significantly?
A: If there's more than a 10% increase, we'll revisit your quote and explore adjustments or alternatives together. Our goal is to keep your vision intact while being transparent and flexible.
Q: What if prices drop? Will I get a discount?
A: If prices go down more than 10%, you'll receive a new quote reflecting the lower costs. We always want to give you the best value!
Q: Is my booking secure once I get a quote?
A: Only once your deposit is paid is your date is secured. We’ll reconfirm all details closer to your event date, including any necessary quote updates based on market shifts.
